Who are we ?

When Simon and Dan Rousseau founded this Quebec-based company in 2017, they shared a common passion: putting technology at the service of humans. They wanted to build a project deeply rooted in a clear mission. That’s how Reality Internet of Humans was born. In search of a meaningful name, RIOH stood out.

Guided by strong human values and a sincere desire to make a positive impact, they began their efforts in a crucial area: healthcare. RIOH therefore set itself the mission of making the daily lives of healthcare professionals easier by developing concrete and innovative solutions to improve their working environments.

Today, this founding vision continues to inspire every innovation we develop in all sectors. At RIOH, technology does not replace humans, it accompanies, supports, and enhances them.

In 2017, RIOH won first prize at the Global Innovation Contest organized by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Aruba, which recognizes the most innovative technology solutions integrating Aruba infrastructures. This award was given to RIOH for its smart asset tracking platform dedicated to healthcare environments, highlighting both the innovative scope and the tangible impact of its solution on clinical efficiency.

On January 19, 2024, during the Digital Health Universe – Together Towards Innovation event held at Centech in Montréal, RIOH Inc. received the Public’s Choice Award in the “Emerging Companies Hour” category. This recognition underscores the impact of their medical equipment tracking solution, praised for its simplicity, accuracy, and concrete contribution to the efficiency of the healthcare network.
